A membership collective built around one principle — that mining investment should be direct, transparent, and accessible to those who seek it.
GoldBand Collective was founded by Ahmad Hollington on the belief that mining investment had become unnecessarily complex — separated from real operations by layers of abstraction. We set out to change that with a direct, transparent model based in Zimbabwe.
Traditional mining investment routes were opaque. Funds, trusts, and speculation products disconnected investors from what they were actually funding. Returns were unpredictable, accountability was low, and the investor was always last to know.
We built GoldBand around a direct model. Each member invests from R5,000 and is assigned to one of our three operational mining plants in Zimbabwe — GBC-0001, GBC-0002, or GBC-0003. Returns of 10% per month come from that plant's actual output — not from speculation, not from trading, not from a pooled fund. Real output, real returns.
Today GoldBand operates three active mining plants in Zimbabwe — GBC-0001, GBC-0002, and GBC-0003. Our operations team manages each plant and provides members with direct photo and video proof of their plant's activity every payout cycle. Members earn 10% per month on their investment for as long as their plant operates.
We are expanding the GoldBand plant network in Zimbabwe, increasing capacity across GBC-0001, GBC-0002, and GBC-0003, and improving the member dashboard experience. Our goal is to remain the most transparent, most direct mining investment collective available to South African investors.
